Removed!!? ok here it is again: have a great trip, am checking back in almost daily, so write a lot! And what is this picture above? What is La Pausa and what's that thing it is written on???
Julie - That appears to be a photo of a napkin holder, at the restaurant where they were having breakfast in Madrid. The name of the place seems to be "The Pause" - and the caption reads "A Parenthesis on the Road" - appropriate considering that is exactly what it was, before they took to the road.
I got a brief email from Linda yesterday. They were over the Pyrenees and headed downhill into Spain. Basically, they are well. Harold is a hit - and seems to be the oldest person on the trail. She does not expect to have WiFi except in the larger towns - so I don't expect to hear from them on a daily basis.
Continued thoughts, prayers and meditations for strong legs, brave hearts and high spirits appreciated.
Just got a skype call 9:30 am Pacific Time. They are in Zubiri Spain. Should make it to Pampaloma tomorrow. She will try and post an update later. All is well.
